How to play Teen Patti

Teen Patti (also called 3 Patti or Flash) is a classic Indian card game for 2 to 5 players, played with a standard 52-card deck. In Teen Patti Offline you play against computer players using virtual chips only.

Rules, step by step

  1. Boot. Every player puts the table's boot amount into the pot. This starts the pot and is the first stake.
  2. Deal. Each player gets 3 cards face down.
  3. Blind or seen. You may play blind (without looking at your cards) or seen (after looking). Once you look, you are seen for the rest of the hand.
  4. Your turn. Play goes clockwise. On your turn you can:
    • Chaal: bet to stay in. A blind player bets 1× to 2× the current stake; a seen player bets 2× to 4× the current stake.
    • Pack: fold and leave the hand. Chips already in the pot stay there.
    • Side show (seen players only): ask the previous seen player to compare cards privately. If they accept, the weaker hand packs. If both hands are equal, the player who asked packs.
    • Show: when only two players are left, either can pay for a show. Both hands are revealed and the better hand wins the pot.
  5. Limits. Each table has a chaal limit and a pot limit. When the pot limit is reached, all remaining hands are shown automatically.
  6. Winner. The last player left, or the best hand at the show, wins the pot.

Exact stake rules and limits can differ slightly between tables and variations. The rules shown inside each table in the game always apply.
